CDV is the BOMB !
This was my sixth trip with CDV and it didn't disappoint. Obviously. I like their trips :) They are right when they say it is about "family"....I was disappointed not to see my old friends !

CDV trips are the best ! I love the fact that we stay in one place and do day trips. It is the best way to see Italy and do things the "local" way. I have gone to places that would never have been included in ANY other tour ! Who makes fried stuffed olives on a guided tour ?? :) It's hard to describe how friendly and welcoming everyone is. We are welcomed as family and we celebrate like family ! At each stop, there were wonderful people, amazing food and of course....wine !
Although there was no one there who I have met before, I have made friends with people I would never have met and that is what is so great about CDV. The Roero trip, led by Erika was amazing. Erika is knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we all had what we needed (of course more wine !!) I loved cooking with Fernanda and Marina. I have already made Marina's stuffed tomato recipe at home.
I am going on my seventh CDV trip (Sicily, the Mother Land) in October and I can't wait to see what new things we encounter. My heritage is Sicilian, so it could be my favorite trip. We'll see. that's a pretty high bar !
